Townsend Acres Stables
Located an hour's drive from NYC, Townsend Acres Stables is home of some of the most talented race horses, jumpers, and even some western horses. There are several Olympic trainers, for just about everything; waiting on hand to take apprentices and teach some lessons.
You drive through a white arch with a sign dangling from it. The sign is painted a sky blue color with navy blue and dark green painted on words. The words read as Townsend Acres Stables on top then below in smaller letters it read A Racing/Jumping/Western Stable. The drive is made up of gravel as you drive toward six huge barns and a small house like building off to the side. Finally you park where there are a bunch of cars, trucks, and trailers. This must be the parking lot. You walk into the closet barn. There are a lot of geldings and stallions, so you assume that it is the stallion's barn. Several lean and well muscled thoroughbreds pass by you. Their coats gleam with the grooming the grooms just gave them. Several more horses pass you. Some are Appaloosas and some are Quarter Horses. The people leading them are dressed in western riding clothes, so you assume them as western horses. Finally you walk out of the barn, after passing several wash stalls, cross ties, and even a lounge in the barn. Looking out from the other side of the barn you see two racing ovals, the start of a cross country course, three indoor arenas, and three outdoor arenas. But what catches you eye the most is the rolling green acreage of the pastures for the horses. It stretches for miles. You then move to the house like building to see what it is. As you walk toward it a sign dangling from a bar names it as the Office. Still curious you continue to walk toward it. You open the door and walk in. There's another door so you knock on it. A female voice tells you to come in, so you do. A female - who introduces herself as Ashleigh Griffin the owner of the stable - greets you.
TAS is a fantastic human/horse RPG owned by Ashleigh. It has seen up for several months and has gained many wonderful members. And TAS will welcome anyone who wants to RP with its members and staff.
Summer is here! The grass is green and the pastures seem to be overflowing with it. The temperature continues to rise. The lakes and ponds seems to be the only way to escape the heat. The trees have their emerald green leaves back and you can hear the birds chirping away on their branches. People are bustling around preparing their horses for the upcoming shows.
Weather Warning: The heat wave doesn't seem to be stopping as temperatures climb to all time highs. Be careful of overworking your horses and once you and they are done give them a bath to cool off! Then head to the beach and cool off yourself!

MOTM && COTM
MOTM and COTM will be chosen soon. To get chosen for MOTM you must be literate, polite, friendly, and helpful toward other members. To get your character chosen for COTM you must keep them active and make as many posts as you can with them. In the end it will come down to voting. When the MOTM and COTM are put up for nomination, you can nominate anyone character - except your own.

Townsend Acres Stables belongs to Ashleigh. Pics and mini plots belong to their creators and can be used with their permission. Characters are the brilliancy of their creators and those are the owners. Ad, rules, and info all created by Ashleigh with the help of the staff and the many wonderful members that TAS has seen. I know, I know. Nobody likes Rules. But they help keep the site more user friendly.
General
1. Absolutely NO racism or sexism. If there is any being done the culprits shall be banned with out warning.
2. Be polite to EVERYONE! If there is any rudeness you will be warned only once.
3. Post must be at least 100 hundred words minimum. If I see that some people are getting lazy I will move it up higher and start giving out warnings.
4. No chat speak at!! Unless it is in C-Box.
5. Spell check is available. USE IT!!!
6. Make a character file after creating a charri. One post per member, please.
7. Your human charri can not own you horse charri.
8. Certain people may be given permission tp have their human character own their equine character.
9. Rule eight will only be done if there is special reasoning.
10. The equines and humans that are RPed by the same person may not enter a competition.
11. Graphic stuff may be permitted but please say so in the title.
12. Staff creates ALL stalls and accepts ALL auctions. Note: Auctions will be accepted a full day after the last bid.
13. There can be private sales. Just post in title who you are reserving the horse for.
14. No power playing/ god modding, at all.
15. No impersonating staff, if we find you doing this you will be banned without warning.
16. If you are going to be absent/away post in the correct board, please. The password for joining boards here is Acheron 17. If you are gone for two weeks after joining without any posts you will be deleted, everybody is expected to stay active or post in the away board if there is a reason. Staff reserves the right to Ban people and to delete accounts.
18. Humans cannot come into the game already owning a horse.
19. Foal stats will be posted by a staff member, may be any staff member.
20. If you’re breeding your horse, please post both horses' stats under the breeding board
21. Only the owner of a horse may breed their horses, unless the horse comes into the game already bred, and only the owner may put a stallion up for stud usage.
22. You MUST check the Celebrity Claim thread if you are planning on using a celeb pic for a character!.
23. You MUST post in the Celebrity Claim thread if you are using a celeb - that has not been claimed - for your character!
Equines
24. Can whinny; snort etc. to horses and humans, no talking, at all please.
25. Horses cannot think like humans, i.e. The stallion glared at the boy knowing at the instant he saw him that the boy would be a cruel owner.
26. Please remain realistic when posting your horse’s stats; staff will not accept if you have an Arabian that’s 18.6 HH or a thoroughbred that jumps ten feet.
27. Horses have to post in the Sales, when bought they can post elsewhere, unless given permission by staff member.
28. If the horse's owner goes inactive they have the right to re-sell themselves.
Humans
29. Start out with $50,000.
30. Can get jobs, however, you don't get paid for them. You get paid $5,000 every week or so. A staff member will PM you and tell you that you have five thousand more dollars. Plus you can get money from posting. If you want to take money from that Pm me, or any other staff member, about it and it will be added to financial records.
31. Ten horses is the limit for a human.
32. Can have relationships, but keep it Pg-13 unless saying it is more mature in the title. And please, please keep it to a minimum. This is a Stable RPG, not a teen pregnancy or sex site.
33. Join the game at the age of at least 14 years old. Keep in mind this is a training place and younger people will not get some one to train them as easily.
C-Box
34. Be friendly.
35. Absolutely no advertising in the C-box, we have a board for that.
36. The Most Important Rule! Have fun!
Aging
37. You may speed age, but don't make a foal grow up in a week and keep it realistic.
38. If you decide not to speed age, seasons are every 4 weeks or so unless said otherwise.
39. Horses die at 25 years but may die earlier from neglect, illness, injury or abuse.
40. Humans can stay as long as they want. They can leave too.
